Fine Art Photography? What is It?

Choosing who will take your one-of-a-kind portraits is an important decision. Ultimately you are investing into artwork for your home.

For me, a fine art photographer is a skilled ARTIST who captures images with a unique eye. This photographer does not follow a list of scripted shots and poses to fill requirements. A fine art photographer can be trained technically, but the creative part is innate and goes hand and hand with the way they see the world. This photographer is a true artist who gives every client a custom photography experience. This artist creates in inspiration to the emotions and connections she feels with her subjects.

I came across two interesting articles that I think really speak about 1. The value in choosing a fine art (custom) photographer and 2. Really break down how this artist invests in your session.  With any product or service there are different levels of service or standards. I choose to offer my clients the highest level of service because of my love for art. I want every client to walk away with genuine masterpieces for their home. For me, art is about inspiring, bringing about emotions and connections.
