I do offer both services so depending on what your overall goal is, one may be better suited for your session. Ontario tends to have grey winters and depending on your home, light can be tricky. However, I know where to look for the sweet spots of light so we may just have to move a few things out of the frame. No worries - I will pay no attention to the basket of laundry and the breakfast dishes on the counter. I understand your time is better spent being a parent and the day-to-day chores are for later.
On location in your home gives more of a modern "lifestyle" look - this is a look that incorporates elements of your home, your children's toys/favorites, a family interacting naturally on the couch, cuddling in the parents bed, kids taking a bath or making cookies. It can also mimic the studio, using bare walls to create a simple backdrop.
